Anysphere · Teams / Enterprise · checked 2026-10-19
No training, Privacy Mode enforced by admins. Good for orgs.
Trains on code
No
Default
Privacy Mode is on by default for team members and Enterprise teams; admins can enforce it org-wide so members can't turn it off.
How to opt out
Admin: cursor.com/dashboard > Settings > enable Privacy Mode for the team > optionally enforce. MDM 'Allowed Team IDs' policy blocks personal accounts on corporate devices.
Retention
Same as Privacy Mode ON (ZDR with providers; temporary encrypted caches; Cloud Agents store encrypted repos only while running). Non-ZDR models fail until an admin approves them.
Telemetry
Not published for client telemetry. Enterprise gets audit logs / AI code tracking API.
Disable telemetry
Not published.
Zero data retention
yes · Default for Enterprise; CMEK and US data residency available on Enterprise.
Offline / local model
no · Cloud only.
Self-hostable
partial · Self-Hosted Machines only.
